Member of the Northern Potters Association (NPA) ( regional coordinator for NPA East from 2011 - 2015)

1978 - 1986:

Teacher of Art and Ceramics at

King's Grove County High School,Crewe, Cheshire.

  • Slide assisted talks to public groups
  • On site demonstration of techniques
  • Workshops involving children and adults
  • Supply teaching for Art in secondary schools
  •  School KS4 tailor made workshop in ceramic sculpture
  • Promotional material, photography and desktop publishing.


  • Runner up in the Potfest the Pens exhibitors competition 2016 Dinner for one Yorkshire Style 
  • Voted the publics favourite  on Friday at potfest in the Pens competition 2016 
  • The Peers vote for their favourite piece in the Potfest in the Pens  exhibitors competition 2014
  • Craft and design Magazine Selected 2012 Finalist
  • 2005 Craftsman magazine "Highly Commended Newcomer" at the British Craft Trade Fair
  • 2000 John B Shaw memorial prize at Holmfirth Artweek.
